Abigail (Abbie) was raised in Iowa, followed by Oregon. She attended Oregon State University, followed by Pacific University for studies prior to coming to California in 2012. Abbie is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about migrant issues and immigrant rights, ethics, and helping anyone without a voice be seen and heard. She has worked in several community mental health settings and clinics with undocumented, uninsured migrant workers in the USA as well as serving as a board member and coordinator of the mental health program for the Refugee Health Alliance in Tijuana since 2018. Abbie has visited over 35 countries and loves to explore the mental health systems and refugee concerns around the world. She has a full time private psychotherapy practice serving adults throughout the state of California.
