Educational Trips and Presentations

We invite you to bring Border Angels to your school for an educational presentation about our work and programs. Our sessions cover ongoing immigration policies and border issues affecting our communities.

In addition to presentations, we engage students and community members in various activities through our educational trips to educate them about the realities of migrant communities, immigration, and border issues.

We offer the following programs for an educational trip opportunity: 

• Day Laborer Outreach: Visit one site where day laborers congregate and provide them with much-needed care packages. Plan for a two-hour day. 
• Educational Water Drop: Trek into the desert to distribute gallons of water and survival packages along paths commonly traveled by migrants. Plan for 8hr day.
• In-person or virtual presentation: Learn about our mission, programs, and immigration. Plan for 1hr (45-minute presentation and 15 minutes for Q&A).
• In-person or virtual documentary screening and Q&A: Learn about our work and mission through our powerful documentary entitled "Love Has No Borders," followed by a debrief and Q&A with Ana Miguel.

(Please note that January through May are our busiest times of the year, and we recommend reserving dates at least six months in advance.)
