Marlene BarriosAssistant General ManagerMarlene Barrios was born and raised in San Diego, CA. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from California State University San Marcos. She began her journey with Border Angels by interning in February 2019 and officially joined the team in June of that same year. With a deep appreciation for cultural heritage and community, she has a strong love for the migrant community and is a dedicated advocate for migrant rights. Through her work at Border Angels, she has been able to grow her passion for social justice, working to uplift marginalized voices and support efforts toward equity and inclusion. Her goal is to continue her commitment to creating positive change for underserved communities. During her spare time, she loves to read, try new restaurants, and be with her dog, Molly.
