Empty bottles, empty cans, empty crates. Refilled crates, climbed rocks, pushed through hot sand. Together. As a team. This group has been working together strong, week after week for over 6 months straight.
Due to the pandemic and the extreme heat, our small groups working these past six months have been able to be as effective as having large groups out once a month. We’ll be back out tomorrow. Some areas are starting to drop in temperatures just below 100°. Once the weather cools down and pandemic gets under better control, we will start to slowly bring volunteers out. Thank you all for your patience and understanding. In the meanwhile, donations of water gallons (non milk jug style), pop-top canned food, socks and bandanas are appreciated, along with sharing our social media posts. For any questions about Water Drops or our Water Drops during Covid, reach out to Water Drop Program Co-Director James Cordero, [email protected]. Thank you for your continued support!
